Eight Killed, Including Three Children, as Bolero Collides With Truck in Bhandara
Eight people, including three children, were killed when a Bolero SUV collided with an Eicher truck in Maharashtra’s Bhandara district early Friday. The crash occurred around 4 am between Manegaon and Pimpalgaon.
Police said the accident took place at around 4 am on Friday, September 11, between Manegaon and Pimpalgaon in Lakhni taluka.
An officer present at the scene said, “A Bolero vehicle collided with an Eicher truck. Eight people travelling in the Bolero—five adults and three children—were killed in the accident.”
According to police, the people travelling in the Bolero were coming from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, to Nagpur via National Highway 53. At around 4 am, the vehicle collided with the truck between Manegaon and Pimpalgaon in Lakhni taluka.
The collision resulted in the deaths of all eight people travelling in the Bolero, including five adults and three children.
